Butter jar H: 38 cm

This jar, manufactured in (approx.) 1912, was used to make butter from milk, which, once poured into the glass, was churned by the crank mechanism, operated manually by means of two gears arranged at right angles.
The model was developed by the company "R. v. Hünersdorff Nachf.”, founded in 1893.
